We always aim to make learning to drive an entirely flexible and personalised driving experience. Everyone’s learning process is unique and our experienced and expert instructors would guide and allow you to develop at your own pace. It is also necessary that learning to drive fits in with your lifestyle and commitments, and for this reason we will work with you at the beginning to recommend and develop unique lesson plans to suit your requirements. This includes flexible pick-up and drop-off arrangements within Glasgow and its surroundings. Then, as you progress, We can introduce new challenges such as mock driving-tests and night-time driving.

Introductory/Sample training sessions:F1School driver training program is client centred and usually starts with a mandatory 2hours sample/introductory training session aimed at laying a solid foundation and assessing your suitability for the program. The introductory session will also help us ascertain your learning requirements and determine the estimated hours needed to complete the dvsa topics/outline and pass your practical driving test in a realistic timescale. Transparent Feedback will be given at the end of the introductory session.

For your first lesson.

You will need to bring your Provisional Drivers License, glasses or contact lenses if required and wear comfortable shoes, preferably with a thin, flexible sole. If you’ve never driven before, it is natural to feel a bit nervous before your first driving lesson. Don’t worry, most people do! Our experience and approach allows us to help new drivers make the most of their first time behind the wheels. You will not be driving on busy and fast roads straight away, and our instructors will talk you through your first steps, familiarising you with the controls of the car before you get started. If you already have some driving experience, your first lesson will be an assessment of your current level of ability, and a lesson-plan will be adopted based on your areas for development. Don’t worry if you have had any difficulties with driving in the past; our highly qualified instructors have a lot of experience in helping new students to develop well in aspects of driving where they had previously been less confident.
