Can I start learning to drive before I turn 17?

If you are a teenager in the United Kingdom, learning to drive is undoubtedly at the top of your priority list. However, before you may drive, you must first apply for a provisional licence.

The earliest you can apply for a provisional licence is when you turn 17. After you turn 17, you can begin learning to drive in your spare time. The process is simple: go to the DVLAwebsite and fill out an online application form.

You'll have to supply personal or financial information, such as your name and address, andpass a few basic vision tests. Once that's done, you'll need to wait for your sparkling newlicence to arrive in the mail before you can start driving
